Members of The Galloway Township Education Association consist of certified teachers, paraprofessional staff, secretary and clerical  personnel, custodian and maintenance personnel, and food service staff.

The purpose of our professional organization is:

  • To work for the welfare of students, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all
  • To develop and promote the adoption of such personnel policies and standards of preparation and participation as mark a profession.
  • To advance professional rights and status and responsibilities of its members.
  • To represent its members and other employees in negotiations and grievances with the School Board on all matters of compensation and all other terms and conditions of employment
  • To form a representative body to speak with authority for its members.
  • To establish cooperation between the educator and the community.

 

The GTEA has e-mail access on the district web page.  If you need to e-mail other members please send one of the officers your e-mail and it will be sent out in a timely fashion. 

 

Once again this year we will be asking all members to become involved in our letter writing campaign to pass the school budget.  Information will be coming out in mid March.
