Total 415 17 Tenth Meeting The G.T.E.A. Negotiations Committee held its tenth meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education yesterday at Reeds Road School. We are pleased to announce that we have signed a memorandum of agreement pending completion of mutually agreed upon salary guides. Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 8, 2007. Negotiations Committee held its eighth meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education last night at Reeds Road School. Substantial progress was made on a number of issues. Negotiations Committee held its seventh meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education last night at Reeds Road School. The meeting involved discussion of a number of items. We began to prioritize issues. However, after the process began, the Board stated that they must wait until funding figures are made available on March 1st before proceeding. We hope to make more progress at the next scheduled meeting on March 5th. Negotiations Committee held its sixth meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education last night at Reeds Road School. The meeting involved discussion of a number of items. Although no decisions were made, there was some progress on several issues. The next scheduled meeting is February 13th. Status quo was maintained on a number of language items. Several items were also withdrawn from the proposals. The next scheduled meeting is January 30th . Second Meeting The G.T.E.A. Negotiations Committee held its second meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education last night at Reeds Road School. Proposals were exchanged. The G.T.E.A. committee reviewed it briefly and a subcommittee is dissecting the details of the boards proposal. Dates for future meetings were set; the next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 12. First Meeting The G.T.E.A. Negotiations Committee held its initial meeting with the Galloway Township Board of Education last night at G.T.M.S. The meeting was very positive. The session began with members of both committees introducing themselves. A subcommittee of the G.T.E.A. team then met with the board representatives for approximately one-half hour. Ground rules for future meetings were set. Both parties will exchange proposals at the next meeting which is scheduled for November 20.
